Today (2/17) is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and it’s the perfect excuse to get our kids involved in something bigger than themselves, today and every day!

But here’s the best part: this isn’t just a one-day challenge. These are habits we can build all year long.

Our latest article shares simple, age-appropriate ways to get your kids involved! Whether that’s making writing a positive message on a sticky note to find, donating gently loved toys, volunteering, or creating kindness challenges at home. Nothing over-the-top. Just meaningful moments that help our kids understand empathy, generosity, and community.

Because raising kind humans doesn’t happen in one big lecture. It happens in the small, everyday actions they see us model.

We’re especially proud to share that a San Diego teen, Marlee (11th grade), is representing our community on the national stage. ⤵️

These 22 finalists (grades 9–12) from across the country are competing for one of two $25,000 scholarships, plus technology grants for their local Clubs. Each teen created artwork inspired by the theme: “A World Within Reach: Future Icons.”
